How does MSM work?

Until recently, nutritional scientists didn’t know much about the role of MSM in the body. It’s now known that these organosulphur compounds are essential in the metabolic process. They contribute to the production of energy in the cells, and the formation of amino acids. Organosulphur compounds also help build synovial fluid, which protects our joints and keeps them ‘oiled’. Without this protection, the cartilage tissue around our joints deteriorates. Movement becomes painful.

In 2007, researchers at the University of California published a scientific study showing that MSM prevents cartilage depletion. Other studies have shown that it also prevents bursitis. And supplementing with MSM can also act as a support for the treatment of skin diseases like acne, neurodermatitis, and psoriasis.
